Troubleshooting for failure to flash: 1. When using the flash for the first time, wait for the flash recycle indicator to turn green, it means recycle is completed. If the indicator remains red or white, please replace the battery with a new one or a fully charged one. 2. If the flash can't work, try going into the camera's menu and changing the flash setting to "manual mode / M" mode
Troubleshooting for not working as expected: 1. Shutter Speed setting: this flash doesn't have TTL function or High-speed sync, we recommend a shutter speed below 1/200, otherwise, the photos may show black edges, white edges issues. 2. Sensitivity setting: we recommend setting the ISO sensitivity to 100, and then increasing it based on the actual brightness or darkness. 3. Aperture setting: we recommend setting the aperture to 2.8, and then increasing it based on the actual brightness or darkness.

Wireless triggering: With Godox wireless X system, v850II can be triggered and controlled by only a X1T-C or X1T-N transmitter(sold separately). V850II can achieve 1/8000s high-speed sync functions when using in combination with high-speed triggers, etc. Note that high-speed sync triggering mode is not available when v850II is mounted onto the camera. Equipped with a wireless control port and a 2.5mm sync cord jack, V850II has multiple triggering methods.
Built in wireless X system: V850II is compatible with AD360II-C, AD360II-N, TT685C, TT685N, X1T-C, X1T-N, etc. In the wireless transmission mode, when used as a master unit, V850II can set its group as M/A/B/C/D/E; when used as slave unit, V850II can set its group as A/B/C/D/E. There are 1-32 channels to be chosen.

Note: this flash doesn't have TTL function or High-speed sync, we recommend a shutter speed below 1/200, otherwise, the photos may show black edges and white edges issues. When the photo is not bright enough or too bright, you may need to adjust the aperture, iso, or shutter speed
Note: If the flash still doesn't work, try going into the camera's menu and changing the flash setting to manual mode / M mode
